The coordinator gave an overview of the deliverables and milestones achieved so far. Overall, it turned out that the DELTA-FLU project is well on schedule.
The subsequent discussions focussed on the planning and coordination of the animal experiments taking place within the project. In addition to the consortium partners, members of the Ethics Committee and the Scientific Advisory Board also attended the meeting. This offered the opportunity not only to report on the current status of the projects, but also to critically examine the planned experiments and to consider which experiments could possibly be modified to achieve maximum scientific output.
